[Text / Gaogong LED reporter Peng Rongfang Hu Yanling] The market leader in LED lighting, Cree has recently held the 2012 Cree 3rd Generation XLamp® LED New Product Launch Conference, and launched the third of Cree to the partners and customers invited to attend. On behalf of innovative LED technology and related LED lighting reference solutions, to create a new era of lighting-grade LED cost performance.
At the press conference, Tang Guoqing, the general manager of Career China Market, proudly said to "High-tech LED": "Cure is Hermès in the LED industry."
The series of Cree LED technology roadmaps and the latest research and development results presented at this conference are undoubtedly the most favorable proof of Tang Guoqing's view.
XLamp® XB-D LEDs and XLamp® XT-E LEDs based on Cree's third-generation innovative technology platform are the two products highlighted at the conference. Both LEDs feature ultra-efficient DA chips and enhanced silicon carbide, as well as optimized thermal packaging and new phosphors, enabling twice the price/performance ratio (lm/$) compared to other LED products, significantly reducing initial cost.

XLamp® XB-D LED
Cree XLamp® XB-D LEDs are the first LEDs to use Cree's third-generation innovative technology platform, in the industry's smallest 2.45 mm × 2.45 mm lighting grade package, with a current of 350 mA and 85 °C The cool white light (6,000K) XB-D LED luminous flux and luminous efficiency are 139 lm and 136 lm/W, respectively, and the warm white (3,000K) XB-D LED luminous flux and luminous efficiency are 107 lm and 105 lm/W, respectively.
XLamp® XT-E LED
Cree XLamp® XT-E LEDs are available in a conventional 3.45mm x 3.45mm XP package and are suitable for almost any lighting application. At 350 mA drive current and 85 °C, the cool white (6,000K) XT-E LED luminous flux and efficacy are 148 lm and 148 lm/W, respectively. Warm white (3,000K) XT-E LED luminous flux and efficacy are respectively It is 114 lm and 114 lm/W.
Both Cree's third-generation LEDs are based on the XP package structure and are compatible with the most widely used XP series of secondary optics, thus shortening the LED lamp design cycle and speeding time-to-market.
Cree also announced the launch of TEMPOTM (thermal, electrical, mechanical, photometric and optical) services for quantitative and qualitative testing and analysis of LED luminaires.
Tang Guoqing said that Career is a responsible company and a company that grows with its customers. In the recruitment of employees, Cree takes the premise of “Love semiconductor and love green lightingâ€. Cree will lead the LED lighting revolution, eliminate low-efficiency light source, and go all out to accelerate the wide application of LED light source as its historical mission.

Maximum bandwidth in the HDMI 2.0 specification is 18Gbps. This bandwidth allows for support of 4K video resolutions at a higher refresh rates with more detailed color information than previous HDMI specifications. This configuration will also support advanced audio streams.
Refresh Rate
Higher refresh rates, up to 60Hz at a 4K resolution are supported within the HDMI 2.0 specification. This helps to reduce motion blur and lag and provides sufficient bandwidth for high dynamic range (HDR) and deep color content.
Chroma Subsampling
4:4:4 chroma subsampling per the HDMI 2.0 specification means that colors can be displayed uncompressed and in full resolution. Compliance with a 4:4:4 color spec is especially important when displaying content from computers and laptops.
Color Bit Depth
Color bit depth has increased to 12-bit deep color with 4,096 shades per channel outlined within the HDMI 2.0 specification. This allows for smoother gradients in displayed images than previous HDMI Specifications.
High Dynamic Range (HDR)
HDR expands the range of both contrast and color allowing images to achieve greater levels of detail in both bright and dark sections of the image. HDMI 2.0 was the first HDMI specification to support this feature.
Optimized Audio Performance
Support for advanced audio features such as DTS-HD, Dolby TrueHD & Dolby ATMOS allow for superior audio performance versus previous HDMI specifications.
