The INA223 is a voltage output device. This section introduces the INA223 features, application range, reference design circuit, and circuit analysis to help you reduce design time.
INA223 Features:
The device monitors the current, bus voltage, and power line power by sensing the voltage drop across the common-mode voltage from 0V to 26V. The common mode voltage range is independent of the supply voltage. The low offset of the zero-drift architecture reduces the maximum sense of current sensing to a full scale of 10mV throughout the shunt.
Operating from a single +2.7V to +5.5V supply, the INA223 consumes a maximum supply current of 250μA. The device is specified over the extended temperature range of -40°C to +105°C and is available in a small outline leadless (SON)-10 package.
Typical applications for INA223 include: notebook computers, mobile phones, telecommunications equipment, power management

INA223 application circuit analysis: the typical application circuit for the INA223. The input pins, VIN+ and VIN– , should be connected as close as possible to the shunt resistor to minimize any resistance in series with the shunt resistance. A powersupply bypass capacitor is required Use a 0.1-μF ceramic capacitor for supply bypassing, placed as close as possible between the supply and ground pins.
