Directional lighting is best suited for multi-chip XLampMPLEasyWhiteLEDs, including PAR or BR bulbs. With proper system design, MPLEasyWhiteLED provides the equivalent of a BR-30 bulb with a power output that is only 22% or less of the power of a conventional incandescent lamp. This will meet the efficacy requirements of ENERGY STAR. Compared to single-chip LEDs, it simplifies design and manufacturing, improves product consistency, and speeds time-to-market.
TheXLampMPLEasyWhiteLED has up to 1500 lumens, is available in a 250 mA and compact 12mm x 13mm package, and is only 28% the size of its equivalent LED device. This is a product that has been commercially produced.
