The angle resolver is an analog rotary electronic transformer. In the past, a space-consuming high-cost dedicated circuit was needed to convert the digital signal used by the digital processor in the control system. However, the TI C2000 MCU Deflector Kit has the following features and benefits:
Use low-cost MCUs to replace expensive dedicated resolvers into digital chipsets to simplify systems and reduce costs;
Extend functionality by allowing MCUs to handle resolver-to-digital decoding, as well as additional analog-to-digital converter (ADC) sampling and processing, encoder and Hall interfaces, digital signal processing (DSP) front ends, state logic, and assistance tools Security tasks and other software-programmable instant functions such as full control loops;
Provides complete hardware and includes not only a printed circuit board (PCB) that meets C2000 controlCARD requirements, but also on-board JTAG emulation for software debugging, and a resolver interface that supports filtering, UART and SPI interfaces. 4 analog digital converter (DAC) outputs for debugging and a 15V power supply.
