What is an electronic label picking system?With the development of science and technology, e-commerce and intelligent technology, the logistics industry is also constantly introducing intelligent equipment, and "smart logistics" came into being. As the most important and most cost-effective operation of the warehouse logistics center, the efficiency and correctness of the picking operation greatly affect the service quality of the company. The electronic label picking system replaces the picking list with a series of electronic display devices (electronic tags) mounted on the shelf. The electronic label indicates the items and quantity to be picked up, and assists the picking personnel in the operation, thereby effectively reducing the picking error. Rate, speed up the picking speed, improve work efficiency, and reasonably arrange the walking route of the pickers. The electronic label picking system is shown in Figure 1.

Wireless electronic label picking systemThe block diagram of the electronic label picking system is shown in Figure 2. The traditional electronic label picking system generally uses rs-485/'target='_blank'>RS-485 or CAN bus, but due to the complicated wired communication wiring, Once the wiring is completed, it is extremely inconvenient to disassemble the mobile, and the ZigBee wireless communication technology with self-organizing network capability can effectively avoid the wiring problem of wired communication.

The electronic label picking system consists of electronic tags (built-in ZigBee module), ZigBee relay, ZigBee gateway (shown in Figure 3), control panel, etc. The electronic tags are installed on the shelf storage, and the system will control the host according to the order status. Control the indicator light, buzzer, display screen, etc. of the electronic label, and the picking personnel complete the replenishment (warehousing) and de-stocking (outbound) tasks correctly, quickly and easily according to the indication signal of the electronic label.

Wireless electronic tag structureThe electronic label consists of a single chip, a display screen, a button, a ZigBee module, an indicator light, and the like. The block diagram of the electronic tag is shown in FIG.
· The display is mainly used to display the information of the current goods to be picked up and the information to be taken later;
· Indicators are used to indicate the picker;
· ZigBee is used to receive and send data to update display information (small data volume) and indicator status;
· The button acts as a man-machine input for the picker to operate the electronic tag.

Wireless solution considerationsThe ZigBee module of the electronic tag generally adopts the on-board antenna. With the influence of the tag housing, the transmission distance of 20db is difficult to meet the communication distance. At the same time, due to the barrier of the warehouse goods, it is easy to generate a communication dead angle, and ZigBee is added at an appropriate position. Relaying can effectively avoid communication dead angles and extend communication distance.
When picking goods, there will be multiple tags in the same network sending signals to the host at the same time. In order to avoid packet loss, ZigBee firmware with carrier sense avoidance mechanism can be used. Before the module sends data, it will first monitor whether the channel is occupied. If the occupation will avoid retransmission, it will ensure that multiple nodes do not lose packets when uploading data at the same time.
