Some friends responded by saying that when their computer is connected to Wi-Fi, it is not easy to disconnect or ultra-slow, but the problem of mobile Internet is not. Is this the problem of routing or computer?
You can see if your router is an old-fashioned 802.11n router (you can see it in the router settings screen or at the bottom of the router). If so, follow the instructions given by Xiaobian next.
Right-click on "Computer" (Win7) or the Windows icon (Win10) in the lower right corner. Select "Device Manager" and find the wireless network card (Wireless device in the name) under the "Network adapter" entry.
Double-click the device entry, open the Properties window, select the "Advanced" tab, select the "2.4GHz 802.11n Channel Width" item below, and change the right value to "20MHz."
If the value in the "HT Mode" item below is "VHT Mode" (Ultra Speed Mode, matching 802.11ac standard), change it to "HT Mode" (High Speed Mode, matching 802.11n standard). Then click the OK button at the bottom and restart the computer.
After the restart, is the Wi-Fi network connection more stable? The cause of this problem is the compatibility issue between the 11ac-compliant wireless network adapter and the 802.11n router. Modifying the channel width to 20 MHz is not a must, but in most cases, if you encounter a situation where you can connect but the network is very slow, you can consider connecting only 20 MHz channel width in 802.11n mode.
