The control circuit can realize automatic repeated loop timing control. It can also be placed in a certain state at any time during the control process.
The constant temperature thermal shutdown control circuit is often used for automatic control in heating appliances such as electric cookers, microwave ovens, and water heaters.
The circuit is shown in the figure, RL is the heating load. K is the power switch. RNTC is a negative temperature coefficient thermistor. A 50KΩ potentiometer is used for temperature regulation, and a reduced resistance will increase the thermal shutdown temperature. Conversely, the thermal shutdown temperature will be lowered.
