In January 2017, because of the documentary "Where to Go", I started the 30-day Vietnamese filming tour with the subject alone, and I got this short film "Toward the South."
Route: Depart from Chongqing, transfer to Guangzhou, and fly directly to Hanoi. From Hanoi, take a bus to Da Nang, then arrive at Ho Chi Minh City by train, then fly to Ho Chi Minh Island by Ho Chi Minh City.
I participated in the first national university student drone aerial photography competition before, and I was very encouraged by the accidental first prize. In the past few days, the game was a foggy orange warning in Beijing. After returning to Chongqing, it was also a foggy day. I didn’t see the sun in the whole winter... When I arrived in Vietnam, I was suddenly attracted by the sea and the blue sky and white clouds. The free time of the documentary is for the filming.
Fortunately, because of the schedule of the subject, I have five days of free time in Da Nang, so I have a lot of time and energy to do mobile time-lapse photography. I will go to the spot in advance the day before the filming. Vietnam is a motorcycle kingdom. I rented a motorcycle at the hotel where I stayed. It costs 50 RMB a day. It is very convenient to go to places where tourists are not likely to go. Shooting.

Remind everyone that the use of drones in Vietnam requires special attention. Because Vietnam did not issue regulations on aerial photography, when I landed in Hanoi, I was extorted by the customs for $100 to get through. Then, when it was aerial photography in Da Nang, it was reported to the police station. After thousands of years, the drone was redeemed, but the memory card was confiscated, and the most exciting aerial footage about the scenery of Da Nang city was lost. Heartache.
Say back to this film. In the film, the shootings in Da Nang and Ho Chi Minh City are mainly based on mobile delay and aerial photography, while Fuguo Island is mainly based on degraded shooting. My experience is: It is best not to let the plane take off and land in the sand, or you will cry when you clean the dust. The wind is strong at the seaside, and you must pay attention to safety when you take off and land.

Mobile time-lapse photography is what I usually learn and explore in the tutorial. Isochronous exposure and focus is the key. Isochronous use of the timed shutter release, and the equidistance is carried out using a tripod and ground tiles or regular points, you need to observe patiently in the usual creation, to develop your own habits. When I shoot, I will stick to the Raw format photos, which will make it easier to unify the tones and adjustments in Lightroom, then import the sequence of images into AE, automatically generate video files, and then do anti-shake processing, the basic delay lens will come out.
