The new product's high-bandwidth features enable high-bandwidth data rates, continuously and accurately measure fast-changing accelerations, and enhance the performance of industrial controls, robotics, and wearable electronics such as motion monitors. High data rates combined with low noise operation and small amplitude monitoring, ST's latest accelerometers make motion control equipment smoother, faster, and support more demanding applications, such as virtual augmented reality .

The LIS344AHH has a full-scale range of ±6g or ±18g and is superior to similar products with a maximum range of ±16g. The new product operates from a 2.4V to 3.6V supply and features a self-test feature in a compact 4mm x 4mm x 1.5mm 16-lead LGA-16 package.
