The drill pipe of Gree Electric well of CSR China Petroleum Co., Ltd. started smoothly, and the TGS2 general-purpose inverter developed by CSR Times Electric was officially put into operation. 400kW commercial air-conditioner inverters and TGS2 general-purpose inverters have entered the broad commercial air-conditioning market and the oilfield market, respectively.

The 400kW commercial air conditioner inverter is mainly supplied to Gree Electric Appliances, the world’s largest professional manufacturer of air conditioners, and the TGS2 inverter is provided for CNPC Chuanqing Petroleum Drilling Company.

The development cycle of the two projects was only a short period of 40 days and the delivery schedule was very tight. For this reason, the project team worked overtime, continuously assaulted, overcame numerous difficulties, and successfully delivered the inverter on schedule.

It is understood that the use of TGS2 inverters has accumulated a great deal of application technology experience for CSR Zhuzhou, and it also breaks the long-term monopoly of ABB and Siemens inverters for the oil inverter market, marking the common inverter of CSR Zhuzhou. A solid step has been taken into the oilfield market. It is also known that CSR Zhuzhou and Gree have also reached a cooperation agreement to jointly develop the next generation of airborne commercial air conditioners and permanent magnet synchronous motors.
