Underspeed (skid) protection switch should be how to choose?
Devices that achieve underspeed (skid) protection are often called "underspeed switch", "slip switch", "slow switch", "slip detector", "locked switch" and so on. There are a wide variety of products on the market, and they are roughly divided into two categories, namely, "wheel contact and rotation" and "non-contact wheel detection." From the working principle can be divided into three categories: "locked rotation detection method", "set speed comparison method", "master-slave speed comparison method."
In terms of structure, the “wheel contact and rotation†product is an early underspeed (skid) switch. Its wheels are rotated against the moving body, the wheels are easy to wear, the bearings are easy to age, and the service life is short. The "driven wheel non-contact detection" products, completely out of the "easy to wear" problem, more reliable, more durable, will become the mainstream of underspeed (skid) protection products. Should use "non-contact" products as much as possible.
Here we focus on products that work on different principles and, in combination with the characteristics of the equipment being protected, talk about how underspeed (skid) protection switches should be selected:First, if the protected equipment is a general non-speed conveyor and hoist, a DH-A intelligent slip (underspeed) switch with superior performance should be used. It does not require any settings to automatically identify the normal speed of the equipment, two-wire system outlet, working power AC220V, automatically determine the 2/3 value of the normal speed as "speed judgment limit". When the speed of the driven wheel is greater than the "speed determination limit," the two lines assume the on state; when the speed of the driven wheel is less than the "speed determination limit," the two lines assume the off state.
Second, if the protected equipment is a general non-speed-control equipment with a higher "under speed protection" requirement or a higher "overspeed protection" requirement, the ZSKG-L type speed switch should be used. It can display the rotation speed of the driven wheel in real time and set two “speed limit values†for protection.
Third, if the protected equipment is a speed conveyor, the DH-22 intelligent master-slave slip switch with superior performance should be selected. It can display the rotational speed of the driving wheel and the rotational speed of the driven wheel in real time. It does not need any settings. It can automatically identify the "speed ratio of the driven wheel and the driving wheel" and the "conversion speed limit value" of the driven wheel during normal operation of the equipment. The “speed determination limit value†of the moving wheel is protected by comparing the rotation speed of the driven wheel with the “speed determination limit valueâ€.
Fourth, if the protection requirements of the protected equipment are not high, the XZ-A type zero speed switch can be selected. It does not require any settings, two-wire outlet, working power AC220V. When the driven wheel rotates, the two lines are in the on state; when the driven wheel stops rotating, the two line delays are in the off state (products with delay time of 1 second, 2 seconds, 4 seconds, and 8 seconds).Nanjing Ningheng Technology Co., Ltd.
